February the 14th is a day of celebration for a significant portion of the population. Things such as cards, flowers, chocolates, and forcefully ejected, often viscous, bodily fluids are eagerly exchanged between loved ones. For another equally significant portion of the population, it is another lonely and unsatisfying day, and moreover a painful and unfortunate reminder of more lonely and unsatisfying days to come.

Whether though bad luck, unfortunate circumstances, your own strongly antisocial tendencies, or being fundamentally broken as a human being, you may find yourself dateless this Valentine’s Day. This also includes those of you who are on the opposite end of the spectrum. If you are in a relationship whose passionate fires have been reduced to naught but cooling embers (and you are a mere handful of fights away from eagerly holding down a pillow over your significant other’s sleeping face), this is a list for you.

I am, both, one of Jackie Chan’s biggest fans and one of his harshest critics (a Top 10 Tuesday of Jackie Chan Movies is coming soon!). Last night, Jackie was on The Tonight show with Conan O’Brien simultaneously demonstrating my love and hate for him. He was on the show promoting The Spy Next Door his latest paycheck movie here in the US market and it looks HORRIBLE. On the positive front, throughout the interview with Conan, Jackie was at his best. His english, while improved, is still bad, but he manages to perfectly communicate his feelings through his gestures and personality. Its obvious why his movies have translated so well all over the world and why he is spoken in the same breath as the greatest of silent comedians.
